A new report on College degrees and health claims that people with graduate degrees or at least some college are statistically likely to have healthier children. It also says that these parents are statistically more likely to be involved in their children’s education. The study goes on to say that 90 percent of preschoolers whose mothers have graduate degrees will be read to at home at least three times a week. This is compared to only 76% of preschoolers whose mothers have only a high school diploma.
This new study that links graduate degrees to a trickle down effect on the person’s children is remarkable. Graduate degrees online, provide a method to complete a person’s education at home while they take care of their children. Additional studies show that children who watch their parents study at home are more likely to take their own studies seriously. Children tend to mimic their parents.
